This phenomenal event brings together nature lovers, expert scientists, photographers and more for an unforgettable series of events. People have traveled from over 40 states and internationally to attend The Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage. Participants will discover a depth of information on variety of wildflowers, fauna, through natural history walks, motorcades, photographic tours, art classes, and indoor seminars. Most events are held outside in various venues throughout the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It’s not just flowers either, there will information shared on insects (terrestrial and aquatic), salamanders and snakes, birds, mammals (bats to bears), journaling, art and photography, and park history.
